Year 6 News

Mr C. Copley

Hello. My name is Mr Copley. In class, we spend a lot of our time working hard on our Writing, Reading and Maths skills to help prepare for the SATs in May and to help get us ready for the transition to high school. We like to have fun in Year 6, but we also know we need to work hard and try our best in everything we do.

Mr A. Bates

Hello! My name is Mr Bates and I have been teaching for nearly ten years. I am passionate about inspiring all learners and I am very interested in the more creative sides of teaching. I began teaching in Brighton before moving back to my home town of Hessle. I have taught KS2 for the majority of my career and I love that age as children are ‘growing’ into who they are and have a basic understanding of humour! When I am not teaching I am lucky enough to be able to look after my two children and continue to follow another passion of mine – wedding photography.
