Statistics and Results Overview

Here’s where you can find out about questionnaire and SATs results.

All Primary School children in year 6 undergo SATs tests annually and you can find out how our children did by viewing our STATs and Results data here.

Every now and then we’ll send out questionnaires to our parents to find out what you think about school life. You’ll be able to view the results here.

End of KS2 Assessment Information 2016

The 2016 key stage 2 tests and assessments are the first to assess the new, more challenging national curriculum which was introduced in 2014. New tests and interim frameworks for teacher assessment have been introduced to reflect the revised curriculum. Results are no longer reported as levels; pupils now receive their test results as a scaled score and teacher assessments based on the standards in the interim framework. Due to these changes, figures for 2016 are not comparable to those for earlier years.

This year the expected standard for Year 6 is met by achieving at least 100 on a scaled score in the reading; grammar, punctuation and spelling and mathematics in end of KS2 tests. Children who achieve a score of 110+ on the scaled score are identified as achieving a high level of attainment. Outcomes in writing are measured by assessments made by teaching staff.

The progress measure for the year group indicates whether the children, collectively, have made progress below, in line with or above expectation nationally. A progress score of 0 means that, on average, pupils in a school made the same progress from the end of KS1 as those nationally. A positive score means that on average pupils make better progress and  a negative score means on average pupils make  less progress than those nationally. Most schools’ progress scores fall in the range of -5 to +5.
