Our School

Welcome to Keyingham Primary School!

We are a friendly village school close to both the maritime history of Hull and the beautiful East Yorkshire coast. As part of The Consortium Academy Trust, we share their vision of "Shaping Positive Futures" and we are ambitious about creating learning environments and excellence in teaching and learning that provide our children and young people with the best chance in their next steps.

Our school is proud of its roots in the local community.  We look to help the children in our care appreciate where they’ve come from whilst also keeping their minds and hearts open to the future. We aim to help our children unlock their potential by learning and understanding their place and possibility in this ever changing world.  We learn from each other, build each other up and work hard to do our best every day.

At Keyingham, we are very proud of our school community and greatly value the communication and partnerships we have with our parents.  Our foremost attention is to the individual needs and aspirations of our children and young people. To help us do this we encourage parents to have an active and supporting role in their child’s school life.

Throughout the year we aim to keep you informed of your child’s progress through parents' evenings, progress reports and information sessions at key times. We will also keep you up-to-date with events and developments within the school through our website, Twitter and the School Gateway app.

I hope that you can find everything you need by navigating our school website but, if you have any issues or questions, please do not hesitate to contact our friendly team at school via email or by calling us on 01964 622319.
