    Our House System

Keyingham Primary School operates a successful house points system as part of our positive ethos.

This complements our reward systems within the classroom and has been developed to give children an opportunity to demonstrate positive behaviour for learning throughout the day, including playtimes and lunchtimes.

Examples of good behaviour are rewarded with house points linked to our school values of CuriosityCourage and Kindness

All children in the school belong to one of four 'houses', which have been inspired by our local surroundings and are as follows:

    • North: the green house which represents the beautiful farmlands to the north of the school
    • South: the blue house which represents the River Humber to the south of the school
    • East: the yellow house which represents the beaches and coastline to the east of the school
    • West: the red house which represents the view up the Humber to the Humber Bridge to the west of the school
