This week in class we have been learning about: In science we have learnt about microhabitats. In RE we have learnt about Easter Sunday. In DT we have continued to learn more about food and nutrition. In Jigsaw we have been looking at healthy eating.

Our Flashback 4 questions have been:

1. What is an adverb? Can you give me an example sentence?
2. What happened on Good Friday?
3. Can you name any objects that are waterproof?
4. What measurements would we use when discussing length or height?

Next week we will be learning about: In RE we will be learning about Good Friday and Easter Sunday. In Science we will be learning how animals adapt to living in a hot climate. In Jigsaw we will be learning about healthy foods which links to our current DT topic. In DT we will be focusing again on our skills and discussing what makes eggs ‘free range’.

In Phonics: most of the children are now learning the Set 3 sounds (see sound mats in bookbags to support your child with their learning). Please continue to read and change their books regularly.

PE Days: our days are Monday and Wednesday.

Book Bags: please send your child with their books on a Monday to be changed for the week. Please read the book several times until they are fluent and no longer sounding out all the words.
