This week in class we have been asking: In science, what would be the best material to use for a chair? In history, what transport is used now and has been in living memory? In DT, how can I make structure stable? In computing, how can keep safe when using technology? In music, what exercises can we do to be ready for singing? In RE, does the Genesis story in the Bible make sense? In Maths, what are the doubles of the numbers 1-9?
Our Flashback 4 Questions have been:
1. Today: In history, how has transport changed over time?
2. This/last week: In geography, what do the words urban, rural and coastline describe?
3.This term: In computing, what device would you use to click and drag?
4. Last term: In science, what do we call trees that leave/don’t lose their leaves?
Next term, we will be asking: In science, what would be the best material to use for a dog’s bed? In history, what first travelled into space? In DT, how can I make structure stable? In computing, what tools can I use to paint a picture? In music, how can I compose? In RE, what things are possible/impossible? In Maths, how do I use a number line to subtract?
Next week we will be learning the sounds: ue, ie, au in words such as glue, tie and pause.
