This week in class we have been asking: In science, why do we use certain materials for certain objects? In geography, what can I see to the North, East, South and West in the village? In art, how do I make a sculpture? In computing, how can I keep safe when using technology? In music, what is composition? In RE, what can I do to make the world a better place? In Maths, how can the number bonds to 10 (e.g. 6+4=10) help me to find number bonds to 20?

Our Flashback 4 Questions have been:

1. Today: In science, what words would you use to classify metal/fabric/plastic

2. This/last week: In art, what is Charles McGee known for? How does he use tone?

3.This term: In computing, name a piece of technology. Name some parts of a computer.

4. Last term: In DT, what do we call the point where the scissors move?

Next term, we will be asking: In science, what would be the best material to use for a dog’s bed? In history, what transport is used now and has been in living memory? In DT, how can I make structure stable? In computing, how can keep safe when using technology? In music, what does pitch mean? In RE, does the Genesis story in the Bible make sense? In Maths, what are the doubles of the numbers 1-9?

Next week we will be learning the sounds: ue, ie, au in words such as glue, tie and pause.
