This week in class we have been asking:  Who made the world? What are the capital cities of the countries of the UK? What is an everyday material and what is it made of? How do I say lion in French? What is rhythm in music? What are the different parts of a computer? What is 1 more/less than a number within 20? In Art, what is meant by tone?

Our Flashback 4 Questions have been:

1. Who made the world?

2.What are the four countries of the UK called?

3.In Science, what is the purpose of a hat and what does purpose mean?

4.What are the seasons and the months within them?

Next week, we will be asking: In Science, what materials have the following properties – hard, soft, dull, shiny, hard or soft? In geography, what is an urban area and what could you find in it? In RE, Who is reponsible for looking afer the world? In Music, what does temp mean in a piece of music? In computing, how do I use a mouse pad on a laptop?  In Maths, how do I compare numbers within 20? In Art, who was Charles McGee and what art did he make?

Next week we will be learning the sounds: er, ow, ai in words such as better, brown and snail.
