This week in class we have been asking: Who made abstract art? What is a holy book? What name do we give trees that stay green all year? How do we use a number line? What is the pulse in a piece of music? How can we link balances in gymnastics? Does honey taste nice? How do we ask ‘How are you’ in French?

Our Flashback 4 questions have been: How many sounds in the word girl and what is the matching rhyme? What is my number? It is fewer than 10 but greater than 6. What name do we give to the places where people live-villages, towns and cities? What did Paul Klee like to do with a dot?

Next week we will be asking: Which do you like best, abstract or representational art? What is a human or physical feature in Geography? How do you reply to the question ‘How are you’ in French? How do I use a part-whole model to add up in Maths? Why is Jesus special to Christians?

Next week we will be revisiting the sounds ow, oo and oo including words such as blow, zoo and look.

Our Graduate Award that we are still working towards is Being Me, linked to our Jigsaw lessons. Your chid has been given a paper copy of this for you to try at home. If they complete it, bring in the work, answers some questions and they can be awarded the certificate.
