In science, why do some trees stay green all year? In maths, what does it mean to compare numbers? In Jigsaw, what are consequences? 

In Phonics, Mrs Lawson’s group have been learning the sounds ow (snow) oo (zoo) and oo (look). Miss Kay’s group have been learning oy (toy) ou (shout) and ee (greenj), (see sounds mat in Reading Book Bag to support your child further).

PE Days: Tuesday and Wednesday. The cross-country has been re-scheduled for next week. Please ensure your child has a full kit including footwear and has removed any earrings on the morning before.

Book Bags: please send your child with their books on a Monday to be changed for the week. Please read the book several times until they are fluent and no longer sounding out all the words.

A big Thank You for sending your child with suitable gear for our trip on Tuesday. The weather was not on our side, but the children still loved it and were brilliant.

PE will start next week and our days are Monday and Wednesday. Over the next week your child will bring a reading book home in their own Book Bag which can be returned weekly to have their book changed.
