This week in class we have been asking, “What are differences between regions in Europe?” We learned that our region (Yorkshire and the Humber) is smaller than the Graian region (The Alps) because it travels through 7 different countries. In our region, we have a lot of low land, whereas, the Alps and Amalfi Coast is a lot higher, with lots of mountains. We have also continued to learn new dances for our dance performance. We had to work together to hold hands in a circle and move around in the circle. In Maths, we’ve been asking “What methods can be used to subtract money?” We’ve been using hundreds, tens and ones to help us do this.

Our 'Flash Back 4' questions were:

1.Muslims pray 5 times a day. What is a call to prayer called? T_____

2.On the computer programme Scratch, a Sprite has attributes. Can you give an example of an attribute?

3.What is the difference between a local, national, or global map?

4.What is germination?

Next week, we will be asking, “What impact does tourism have on regions in Europe?” and “What tone is your skin colour?”

Our spelling rule next week is ‘ee’ sounding words, such as: guarantee, feature, release, kilogram, brief, library, liberation, perceive, deceive, create, cereal.

Our PE days are Monday (outdoor) and Tuesday (indoor)
