This week in class we have been asking, “What is the Bible?” We learned that the Bible is a special book for Christians made up of 66 books in total. There is a New Testament and an Old Testament. The Old Testament is over 3000 years old. Christians believe that God spoke to the people who wrote the stories in the Bible. In Science, we have learned there are two types of rocks: rocks that are man-made, or rocks that are naturally occurring. For example: a brick has been made man, but rocks on the beach have not. In PE, we learned some new balances.
Our “Flashback 4” questions this week were:
1.What do I mean by ‘identity’?
2.What is Great Britain and which is British Isles?
3.What is the Old and New Testament?
4.A torch is a digital device. True, or false?
Next week, we will be asking, “How are rocks formed?” and “What is a solution?”
Our spelling rule next week is ‘e’ sounding words, such as: mention, peculiar, possession, pressure, bread, accept, except, whether, weather, any, extreme, many
Next week, our PE days are Tuesday and Friday
