•This week in Year 6, we have been reading…Macbeth in our morning reading lesson. We have looked at the comic book version and the BBC animated version. In our 10 minute pledge, we have been reading Itch – the main character has ended up with some radioactive rocks and it looks like they have been framed for murder.

•This week in Year 6, we have been learning… about blogging and we are going to be starting a class blog next week. We have also started to look at what is acceptable and unacceptable online behaviour. In Maths, we have been recapping our knowledge of fractions. In English, we did a pre-test on which sentences were correct and then looked at how to improve them.

•Next week in Year 6, we will be asking…

-Are fractions and decimals the same?

-Does dialogue improve narratives?

-Does worship only happen in religious buildings and homes?

-Without a scale, would maps be difficult to draw?

-How do we write a class blog?

-What would we say to other children in KS2 would be classed as appropriate and inappropriate online behaviour?
