This week in Year 6, in our story Stormbreaker Alex is pretending to be Felix Lester as a secret agent to investigate the Stormbreaker computer. Alex is living at the inventor’s home (Mr Sayle) who is a suspect for the murder of his uncle (Ian Rider). 

•This week in Year 6, we have been learning about the lines of symmetry of shapes, solving problems using ratios and using scale factors to increase & decrease shapes in Maths.  In computing, we have been learning how to code programs using different functions such as: moving, speaking, repeating and the meaning of the word algorithm.

•Next week in Year 6, we will be learning more about computer coding and how to design our own game.  We will be practicing our mathematical and literacy skills in preparation for our SATs.
