This week in Year 6, we have finished reading Itch, Itch woke up in a military hospital and a security guard was standing by his bedside talking to him about how Flowerdew had escaped from prison. Itch, returned home and guards moved in next door to protect the family. We have started reading Storm Breaker this week, we will keep you posted!
This week in Year 6, we have been learning to calculate the perimeter and area of shapes in Math's. In Geography, we have been learning about the Nairobi River and comparing it to the River Humber. In Literacy, we have been learning how to write a non-chronological report on the River Humber.
Next week in Year 6, we will be learning about light. We will be exploring: how light travels, shadows, reflection, refraction and how we see.
