This week in class we have been finishing our work on co-ordinates and solving problems.  We have been adding an exciting ending to our narratives.  We have extended our understanding on the purpose of life in the context of different faiths.  In History, we have been asking about the effects of migration to the UK in the post war period.  Science has focussed on the blood vessels of the circulatory system.

Next week, we will be revising a wide variety of grammatical terms in preparation for our SATs tests and practising our different reading skills such as retrieve, infer, predict and summarise.  In maths we will explore a variety of geometry based topics such as measuring and drawing.  In History we will be asking what happened to migrants to Britain after the war.  Science will be an investigation in to the effect of exercise on our heart rates.  We will also be exploring Christian beliefs about life after death and continuing our Jigsaw work on Healthy Me.

The spelling pattern for next week involves use of homophones and includes: advice, advise, device, devise, farther, father, guessed, guest, heard, herd.

Children are free to work on whichever graduate award takes their interest.
