This week in Year 5, we have shown kindness by showing respect when we were out of school on Wednesday to both the location and the visitors – one of them said, “This is the politest group we have had so far today.”

This week in Year 5, we have shown courage by taking part in our first rugby session and some of us tried new skills whilst others, who were more confident, gave encouragement to the rest of the class.

This week in Year 5, we have shown curiosity by going on a trip to the Humber STEM event at Craven Park. We got to find out all about different types of engineering, AI, construction, power stations, bacteria and hygiene, archaeology, magic maths with Hull university and we saw Ron Dearing and learnt about 3D Printing.

Next week, we will be doing a test week and having a go at some end of KS2 tests to see how we get on. We will also be focusing our afternoons on DT and looking at making a Greek Salad and our own pitta breads. We will also be continuing our dance sessions on Tuesday afternoon and our Rugby session with Hull KR on Friday.
