This week in Year 5, we have shown kindness by complimenting each other’s card designs for the King’s Coronation Competition when we were in the hall with Year 4 and Year 6 on Thursday afternoon. We also showed kindness by making sure we behaved well especially as the hall was full of parents and family members. One final moment of kindness was when we made a card to say goodbye to one of our class members who has left to join a new school.

This week in Year 5, we have shown courage by taking our time to put our double-page spreads for RE together. We have used all we have learnt about five different religions, their faith founders, how they show their beliefs and where they worship. We have used a variety of different ways to display the information and tried some new ideas.

This week in Year 5, we have shown curiosity by learning how to create a concept map on Purple Mash and researching different information on the internet to help us with this. In History, we found out all about workhouses during Georgian Britain.

Next week, we will all be having a well-deserved break and enjoying the Easter holiday. This will help us recharge and be ready for the Summer Term in two weeks. Have a great holiday everyone!
