This week in Year 5, we have shown kindness by working well together as a group in our Jigsaw session when we had to complete happiness continuums for ourselves and children in Ghana. When we have played on the MUGA at lunchtime, we have been kind to Miss Kay by helping hold the equipment.

This week in Year 5, we have shown courage by not giving up when completing our different coding challenges in Computing this week. This was also evident in Jigsaw as we were not afraid to express our opinions and accept those that were maybe different to ours.

This week in Year 5, we have shown curiosity by putting ourselves in other people’s shoes in Jigsaw as we had to think about what they would consider makes them happy in life.

Next week, we will be writing a diary from the point of view of a soldier during the Christmas Truce in World War 1. We will be looking at square and cube numbers in Maths. In the afternoons, we will be mainly working on our DT project making a Maya Maze. We will also be visiting the local church on Thursday.
