This week in Year 5, we have shown kindness by complimenting other children’s art work and allowing them to see and comment on our own work.

This week in Year 5, we have shown courage by having a really good go at starting our hyper-realistic portraits using the grid method to help. This was quite challenging, but many of us could see how much we had improved since our first attempts.

This week in Year 5, we have shown curiosity by working on a couple of pieces of ‘cold writing’ and seeing what ideas we can come up with without any adult help or support from other resources in the classroom.

Next week, we will be finishing off our how to survive in the Amazon Rainforest guide in writing. In Maths, we will be continuing our work on Addition and Subtraction. We will be looking at The Maya in History and this will include a Now Press Play session on Wednesday afternoon. We will also be doing Forest School on Wednesday as well.
