This week in class we have been asking….

What are the different features of writing needed in a letter of application? What is percentage? How can I turn a fraction into a percentage? Can I find and order equivalent fractions, decimals and percentages? In Computing, how do I use a formula on a spreadsheet? What does happen to your soul when you die? What are the different classifications of plants and fungi? What is the difference between voluntary and forced migration? Are Viking sagas just like the stories we normally read? What was life like in Viking times?

 

Next week in class we will be asking....

What do I need to consider when I am writing my formal letter of application? Can I develop my reading stamina in a test situation? What steps are needed to find fractions of amounts? How do you calculate on a spreadsheet and duplicate this to other cells? Did every philosopher believe that the body and soul were two separate things? Does everyone believe that there is a heaven? What is bacteria and is it helpful, harmful or both? How does it feel if you have had to migrate to another country against your wishes?

 

Our spelling rule for the next week will be The ‘u’ sounds spelt ‘ou’’
