This week in Year 4, we have nearly finished reading ‘Awful Auntie’. We have also watched ‘Billionaire Boy’ and ‘Mr. Stink’.

This week, we read about the origins of Saint Valentine's Day and discovered that British people spent a whopping £855 million pounds on chocolates, flowers and cards last year!

With our historian hats on, although we didn't get to walk through the village, we learned about what life was like in Keyingham during World War ll. After half-term, we'll start looking at life during Tudor times. Our maths focus has been on fractions and in writing we used our imagination to write a poem featuring contractions and prepositions.

Hope you all have a lovely, safe and enjoyable half term.
