This week in Year 4, we have continued to read Awful Auntie by David Walliams.

This week in Year 4, we have been learning how to write a poem, using Allan Ahlberg’s poem ‘Dog in the Playground’ as a stimulus. We are now going to write our own poem called ‘Cat in the Playground’, which will be based on Chester the cat, who is a regular visitor to the school grounds. In Maths, we have been looking at fractions and in History we have done about rationing and evacuation.

Next week in Year 4, we will be asking questions like ‘How did WW2 impact the village of Keyingham?’’ and ‘What are the difference between Keyingham now and then?’
