This week in Year 3, we have been reading ‘Code Name Bananas’ by David Walliams. It is about a little boy called Eric who is an orphan and lives with his Grandma. He hates school but loves the Zoo where his uncle works. The story is set during WW2, so we are finding out about that at the same time.

This week in Year 3, we have been learning how to use MS Powerpoint. We have all found it a bit tricky! First, we had to open the programme. Then we had to insert five text boxes and write our names. After that, we changed the font, the size and the colour. Next, we used WordArt to change the shape of our names. Finally, we added background designs and images.

Next week in Year 3, we will be asking ‘Who are the faith founders and what did they teach?’ We will look at the origins of the main faiths, what they believe, what they teach and their rules for living.
