This week, in Year 2, we have finished reading ‘The Faraway Tree’ and the last place we visited was ‘The Land of Presents’ where you could only give presents to others people, but couldn’t take anything for yourself. We also read ‘Season Swap’ where we learned that Earth has a northern and southern hemisphere, which means when we are in the UK and it’s winter, it’s summer in Australia.   

This week in, Year 2, we have been learning how to follow a beat and include a silent beat. In maths, we’ve been practicing our number bonds and how to read an analogue clock.  

After half-term, we will be asking, “Do you know any famous pilots from Hull?”
