This week in Year 2, we have been reading ‘Rubbish’, which was a non-fiction book. It was about people, that were telling people to recycle. In our class story, ‘The Faraway Tree’ Rick turned into a giant and then Rick turned tinier than an ant. Old Saucepan had an elephant trunk. This was all because of Magic Medicine Land.  

This week in Year 2, we have been learning in Maths half shapes and non-half shapes. In History, we’ve been learning about how technology has changed from the past and how Keyingham has changed, such as the Co-op, which used to be a post office and it’s now Today’s local.  

Next week, we will be asking, “How can we stay safe on the Internet?” because it’s ‘Safer Internet Day’ on Tuesday.
