This week in class we have been asking: in RE, what is Shabbat for members of the Jewish community? In Science, how many body parts can you name and find? In Geography, what are the 7 continents called? In Computing, what do I use the programme Word for? In PE, what can help me to play tennis? In Writing, what can I put at the end of a sentence? In Maths, if we count in 2s and 10s, what sort of numbers do we count?

Our Flashback 4 Questions have been:

3. This term: In RE, what do Jewish people do on Shabbat?
4. Last term: In science, name the material: it is usually hard, can be many different colours, can be made into lots of different shapes and objects, is very useful in the classroom but not in the oceans. What is it?

Next week we will be asking: in Science, what senses do I need to see and hear? In geography, what can I use a globe for? In Computing, how do I add and remove text? In Food Technology, what equipment do I need to grate and ribbon vegetables? In Jigsaw, how can I be a good friend? In Writing, how do I know if words rhyme? In Maths, how do equal groups help me to count?  

In Phonics: the children are all making progress with their reading and are doing a super job with changing their books. Please check their book bags for new QR Codes for new videos to watch to support the Phonics Screening test coming up next term.

PE Days: our days are Monday and Wednesday

Book Bags: please send your child with their books on a Monday to be changed for the week. Please spend the week reading the three books that the children now have in their bags.
